It’s a quick piece of news. It is especially important to all of you who have Gala Games founder’s node license. Some time ago Gala Games established a new type of node. Individual nodes for every game. Right now, there is only one game – Town Star. The second sale of the licenses for a node for this game has been placed a couple days ago.
This situation is annoying to many gala founder’s node owners. The rule they believe before was that, “there is going to be only 50,000 of nodes”. In the past, nobody was talking about additional node for every game separately. On their website you can find this information: “Founder’s Nodes will not be able to carry the workload alone if we want nodes to do ALL THE THINGS (unless everyone is interested in a requirement of 16 CPU cores, 64 GB of ram, etc. to run the Founder’s Nodes).” This is just an excuse to earn money aside by selling new types of licenses and at the same time deposing the importance of founder's nodes. Remember, all the people who bought a license for a founder node built the Gala Games from the beginning.
They invested thousands of dollars for the license believing in Gala Games and wanting to let Gala Games team have money to create something spectacular. I don’t really think this the way Gala Games should treat these people. They do not deserve it. Why do I think it is not fair? They do assume, people would not upgrade their servers to the required level. Why do they assume this instead of simply asking founders node owners? Based on the fact, that it would be super affordable for node owners to upgrade their servers to handle Town Star and get Town Star coins for it.

The price of a server what was mentioned by Gala specs is 151.05$ per month. On the Gala Games website, you can find this information: “each node would have received between 29 and 117.5 TOWN". “Let us assume that you are going to get the minimum earnings. So… 29 tokens multiplied by the price of Town token which is 0.56$ right now gives us 16.24$ per day. 16.24$ multiplied by 30 days equals 487.2$ per month. The cost of the server as you remember is 151.05$. $487.2 minus the server price is 336.15$. You can see now that even in the worst possible scenario you as a node owner earn additional 336.15$ per month.
The simplest solution is to give all the people who bought Town Star node their money back and some valuable Town Star NFT as an apology. Besides that, Gala Games must NEVER EVER sell license for any other server than founders’ server and there cannot be more than 50,000 nodes. If you are one of the node owners and you have a different idea to solve this situation, please share it.
My personal request for Gala Games team is “please, respect people who let you build your company by investing a lot of money in it and do not try trick them ever again”.
